We're sorry to hear your Slinger remote is not working. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to get you back up and running.
The Slinger Pickleball launcher can be used with out the remote - Please click here for instructions
1. Ensure the remote battery is working
- The light near the top of the remote should illuminate BLUE when a button on the remote is pressed.
- If it does not illuminate, this indicates the batteries in the remote are no longer working.
- The remote takes 2 CR-2016 batteries that can be replaced by removing the 3 screws in the back of the remote.
2. Ensure the Slinger Bag is fully charged
- The Slinger Bag is fully charged when the following lights are illuminated when the machine is in the 'on' position : Pickleball:
If the Slinger has no lights illuminated when in the 'on' position - Please watch here.
3. If the BLUE light on the remote illuminates and the Slinger is fully charged, please sync the remote to the Slinger. Click here for video instructions.
Please follow these instructions to sync the remote to the launcher:β
1. Please ensure that NO BALLS are located inside the bag or the FEEDER PLATE.
2. Switch the launcher to βONβ.
3. Using a small pin, push the reset button once (reset button #4 on the control panel).
4. Wait 3-5 sec.
5. Push the reset button one more time to complete the syncing.
6. Press the top button on the remote to hear a BEEP which indicates a successful connection.
If the troubleshooting steps outlined above do not solve your issue; please empty the hopper area and kindly share a brief video showcasing what you are experiencing.
